Melbourne :: Compose is just around the corner. Get ready for Monday!
Compose is a conference for functional programmers, focused on technologies such as Haskell, Scala, Clojure, OCaml, F#, SML and others.
This year we’re running a mini-conf, with a morning of talks and an afternoon of workshops and unconference.
Our keynote will be on the topic of “The Hidden Data Flow in Types“ by Ambrose Bonnaire-Sergeant. Almost 6 years ago he flew to Melbourne to present his work on Typed-Clojure and now after completing his PHD he returns to share his knowledge once again!
Workshops will include introductions to Haskell, Nix, and Scala 3. This year tickets are the cheapest they have ever been, so don’t regret missing it, come along and mingle with Melbourne’s Functional-Programming glitterati!
